Sprouting Families Prenatal, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum & Lactation Classes
These classes are for anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge in the areas of pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum & lactation. You can choose one, some, or all of the categories. You could even do some now and some at our next class offering on July 5th. Simply pay for which portion you would like to join for and then come during that time frame. Please bring along a support person.

1:00pm-2:00pm : Pregnancy
Participants will learn about the different milestones of each trimester and some holistic ways to support a sprouting new life. Desiree will also share the different types of testing that is offered during each trimester and what results might mean, as well as, evidence based herbal support for any ailments that participants might experience.
2:00pm-3:00pm : Labor & Delivery
Participants will walk away from this session with a better understanding of optimal fetal positioning, the stages of labor, techniques to help you through labor, and the different options and interventions that may be offered during labor and delivery. Desiree will also encourage any support people present in their role as your advocate during labor.
3:00pm-4:00pm : Postpartum & Baby Boot Camp
This Class is great for managing expectations in those first few weeks postpartum. With a tender focus on collborative care, pelvic floor health, and newborn milestones this class is a great course for parents who are looking to learn more about how to support their postpartum recovery journey. Desiree will also offer a crash course in diapering, babywearing, and babycaring.
4:00pm-5:00pm : Lactation
Get started off on the right foot with breastfeeding as this class lays out all of the foundational rules about supply and demand. There will be demonstrations on latching and details on common issues, families will walk away with the foundational knowledge needed to tackle lactation head on.
