Doula support - Labor and Delivery
Labor and delivery support begins during pregnancy. When you hire a Sprouting Families doula we begin getting to know you during your pregnancy with at least two prior meetings to discuss your wishes and help to ease any concerns you may have. We will meet at least once for birth class (included/required in this package), and may meet more depending on your needs. You other appointments can include assistance with finalizing a birth plan or even preparing your home or meals for your postpartum period.

We will join you during labor as soon as you feel you are ready for support and remain with you until 1-2 hours post delivery to ensure that you are settled and assist with breastfeeding as needed. We will then return within 48 hours to check in and ensure all is well or answer any questions.

We will also have one final postpartum meeting in which we can go over any details regarding your birth or help with newborn care including, but not limited to: breastfeeding, infant sleep, cloth diapering, baby wearing, and community resources.

The total investment for this care is $1,000 and includes labor and delivery support, prenatal, and postpartum care.

Night Nanny

Sleep can be hard to come by in the early days with a newborn, but it makes a big difference in how you feel physically, emotionally, and mentally. While nighttime parenting is part of the deal, it doesn’t have to be something you push through alone. Having a postpartum doula overnight gives your family extra support during those long stretches, so you can rest, recover, and wake up knowing your baby’s needs were cared for with intention and tenderness.
Overnight care is tailored to your needs, but it often looks something like this:
When I arrive, we’ll do a quick check-in. You can share how the day went, ask any questions that are on your mind, and I’ll offer referrals if something comes up that’s outside my scope.
From there, I’ll take over baby care so you can rest. Quiet, light housework might happen in the background, things like washing bottles or baby laundry, nothing that will disrupt your sleep.
If you’re breastfeeding, I’ll bring baby to you when it’s time to nurse. Once you’re done, I’ll handle the burping, soothing, and settling so you can go right back to sleep.
If you’re using bottles, I’ll take care of all feedings throughout the night.
Many families choose a mix of both, bottle and breast, and we’ll follow the plan that works best for you.
Before wrapping up for the night, I’ll do a final diaper change and feeding, and clean any bottles used (time permitting).
This kind of support is about more than just getting through the night. It’s about building rhythms that work for your family. Every household is different, and we’ll work together to create a flow that feels supportive, sustainable, and right for where you are now.

The total investment for this care is $300
Equal to one 8 hour shift each night - minimum of four shifts required.
Fresh 48
This package was created for families who want steady, in‑home support during those tender early days with a new baby. Whether you’re a first-time parent or welcoming another little one, having a calm, experienced presence by your side those first days home from the hospital or after your birth team leaves - can help make the transition feel more natural and supported.

Each day, I offer consistent, hands-on care for you and your newborn (and older children if needed), giving you space to pause and breathe. You might find yourself enjoying a peaceful nap, taking a long shower, warming up a meal, or savoring a hot cup of coffee while I assist and tend to your baby.

My goal during this time is to provide practical assistance, emotional steadiness, and a gentle rhythm to your days so you can begin to parent with more confidence and less stress.

You’ll receive twenty-four hours of dedicated in-home support each day. I also build in rest time for myself so the care I offer remains fully present, grounded, and sustainable throughout our time together.

The total investment for this care would be $1,200 and includes one meet and greet prior to the arrival of your baby and the on call schedule for the doula.
